The article examines the management of education in the context of regional development, what is education management and how it affects the development of regions in Russia. A statistical analysis has been carried out over the past 10 years of graduation of students with a certificate of secondary general education and with a certificate of basic general education, admission to bachelor's degree, specialty, master's degree programs, and it is determined which factors influenced the dynamics of each question.
